Streakers shrug....or perhaps better called, Safari Day

I finished the Streakers Shrug (despite aura and migraine this morning) from Interweave an issue ago. I had bought the yarn from the La Lana Wools booth (drool, drool) months ago at Stitches West, as I was coming down with pneumonia, although I didn't realize it at the time, I thought it was yarn lust fever; but it called and called to me from its stash spot in the garage, (just as chocolate in the cupboard does) and now it's finally done. I think I like it, wearing will tell, the sleeves seem a bit long. I did actually break down and steam block as directed. Good grief, next thing you know, I will actually be doing gauge swatches. The staff at La Lana is the best, they are really helpful and patient.
