Uh oh, there are yarn stores here....

I ventured out across the wilds of St. Louis yesterday to run errands and to track down a yarn store that had been recommended to me. It is called Myers Weaving Dept. It's right off Highway 270, in an old historic two-story house, with a barn adjacent where they do classes. Downstairs is a quilters heaven. They have supplies for knitting, spinning, weaving...and offer classes in all the above as well. Lots of yarn, helpful staff, but not hovering, if you know what I mean. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. The pictures don't do it justice because of the layout, lots of connecting rooms arranged around the top floor, each one filled with yarn.

THAT store is worth writing about!! I love little connecting rooms!
If I ever get back that way, again, I will definitely go there!

Hi there, I'm leaving a comment, because I couldn't find a link for an email. I wanted to respond to a comment you left about ImagiKnit on January One. I used to work there and still teach and am interested in hearing more of your feedback, you can email me at knitsonya at gmail dot com. Thanks!
