A reminder that there's other stuff going on besides Sock Summit. There were several huge smoke plumes visible over large areas.
My flights were all delayed for various reasons, though they told us the connection at SFO was on time, which left me exactly -2.35 minutes to run like a crazy person through 1/2 mile of terminal & mobs of people on slo-mo... only to arrive at the gate that was just deplaning. phew. Now being tossed around in turbulence. Can you say "Wheeeeeee!?"
