Pomatomus Love

Yes, I know, a mere ten days ago this sock was kicking my xxx. I stuck it out, and finished the first one, and immediately cast on for the second.
This time, I decided to use stitch markers to mark where the needles would be if I were using DPNs, as Cookie A. wrote the pattern. Note my homemade stitch markers (although not in binary, thank you), per Sticks and Strings' podcast instructs. I'm also following these rules: 1) Read and follow the pattern exactly. 2) Read and follow the chart exactly. 3) Make note of the pattern relative to the stitch markers, since they actually do correspond. 4) The minute your mind wanders, your eye twitches, or your fingers go numb, put the sock down, get up and do something else. Do not say "Just one more row."
I'm actually enjoying this sock, the pattern, the yarn (Lisa Souza Sock! in Little Devil). I had previously lamented that the first one, if I ever finished it, might be an orphan. Now I'm almost contemplating knitting this pattern again. I have some Black Bunny yarn in lovely ocean-y colors that would be lovely. I also have the first installment of the Rockin' Sock Club kits to begin. So much yarn, so many projects. I need more hands!

Wow, the texture on those socks are incredible. I would almost be scared to wear those for fear of messing them up. Quite beautiful.

Would you call the pattern intermediate or experienced? I love the pictures on your blog and am currently looking for new sock patterns to go with the mountain of sock yarn I seem to be aquiring. lol It'd be great if you could let me know. Thanks!
