A sure sign of Fall
We have proof every day that cats can tell time, almost to the minute. Well, at least twice a day. Morning feeding must occur promptly at 7:30 a.m., and evening feeding at 5 p.m. sharp. They also know when we two-legs are supposed to be in bed. They get quite grumpy and start nagging and herding us to bed if we are not there before midnight. If the cats go to bed first, and get all comfortable and settled in, they get seriously disturbed when we come later and roust them to get to our spots; there will be fussing and snarling. So it's no surprise that Zoe Godzilla has announced the official start of fall by climbing into her Kitty Pi bed, which has sat ignored, all summer long. The one major deficit in their chronometric skills is differentiating the days of the week. Which means no sleeping in on weekends. I suppose to cats every day is Sunday.

Boy, a cat's work is never done. Thank god they are around to keep you on task and on time.
That's funny. My cat Mango does the exact same thing. Along with the reminding me its time for food, if we don't get into be when we normally do, he sits at the foot of the bed meowing until we get in bed, AND turn out the light. Then he hops right in.
I like the boa on Zoe ;)
