The day started with aura, out of the blue. I took some meds, did some stretching, and set off to work anyway, despite the migraine. I was rewarded with this, the view today. Persian carpet iceplant in full bloom across the street from a job. There was a spicy fragrance, though it might have something else blooming nearby; the color was so intense, even the air was vibrating. Or maybe it was just my poor, addled brain.

Weird--my mom woke up with aura accompanied by headache yesterday, too. Gone by lunchtime. Unusual for her to awake with migraine, though.
